Draw one card from the stock or take the top card from the discard pile at the start of your turn. Arrange your hand into melds: sets of the same rank or runs in sequence of the same suit. Discard one card to the discard pile to end your turn and shape your opponent’s options. Track your deadwood points and minimize unmatched cards to reduce penalties. Knock when your deadwood is 10 points or fewer, or aim for Gin with zero deadwood for a bigger bonus. Play rounds until the target score is reached; the player with the highest total wins.
